I would definitely recommend Eugene as not only is he relatable and friendly, he pays a lot of attention to detail in his lessons and he definitely can provide improvements in anyone he teaches.

Having undergone many tuition sessions throughout my academic life, I can say for sure that Eugene is one of the best, if not the best tutor that I know of.

A quality that Eugene possess would be that rather than just telling you the answer to a certain question, he ensures that you fully understands a certain concept before he moves on. This is very helpful when I was not confident for certain topics, or when questions of different nature came out. Eugene also explains concepts with utmost clarity. Throughout my JC life, I was never confident for H2 Math, always scoring a borderline E/S. Even though I worked with Eugene for a short period of time, I have seen a tremendous amount of improvement worth 30-40 marks in my practice papers. He completely changed the way in which I viewed Math concepts - as concepts to be understood rather than remembered. He also gave ample practice questions, including challenging ones for additional exposure which increased my confidence by great deal for my A Levels.

As a student struggling with the difficulty jump in H2 Math from JC 1 to JC 2, Eugene has certainly helped me improve by re-instilling my confidence in solving H2 Math questions.

His in-depth knowledge of the syllabus and different questions types is really helpful and allows me to better understand and tackle the subject. He ensures that I understand the concepts behind the topics and explains them thoroughly to me, rather than having me memorise them as they are.

Despite only starting with Eugene in the middle of JC 2, there was no delay before I saw improvement. From getting a U grade in my JC 2 Mid-Year Exam, I obtained a B grade for my Pure Math paper in my Prelim Exam.

For me, what sets Eugene apart from other tutors is the level of dedication and effort he is willing to put in, from ensuring what work needs to be done before lessons, checking in with which topics that I am stronger or weaker in to effectively plan out the lessons, to small details such as planning future lesson dates on his calendar which makes things smoother.

He is very detailed and always checks my work to ensure that I do not miss out a single thing so that I can score the most marks in questions. He does a great job in ensuring that I am on task which keeps me in check and allows me to effectively learn.

Eugene is a Math tutor who is willing to go the extra mile to help his students. Even out of class, he is quick to respond to questions on text, and will keep them in mind for the next lesson if there is more content to cover. He is very well versed with the Math syllabus, and can easily address any questions that I might have.

I'd say one of eugene's greatest qualities as a teacher is his passion for Maths and his clarity in teaching.

Midway through JC, I was struggling in maths due to not understanding my concepts right. After Eugene started helping me, Ihonestly became more interested to do Math as he was able to clearly explain concepts to me. With his help, I jumped grades from S to B and eventually A at the A levels. By going through different types of questions and helping me, I became more confident in tackling problems in Math.

Before Eugene’s tuition lessons, I was struggling with Maths. Its difficult concepts were hard to grasp by my own and I had to seek help.

After going through Eugene’s lessons, I managed to greatly improve on my Maths from attaining a C grade to an A. His lessons are clear and his explanations are always clear and concise. He is patient when I struggle to grasp a concept and is determined I am able to understand it. He inspires me to work harder to ensure that I can maintain my standards.

Teacher Eugene is a kind and patient tutor. He has many good notes and extra practices from various schools. He simplifies topics that I have trouble understanding. I have consistently maintained a decent grade for math. I would recommend him because he is able to explain concepts by breaking it down into simpler terms as well as provide you with weekly practices to ensure that you cope well with the subject.
